When regency romance meets modern bridal perfection at Brookleigh Estate
Dearest readers, we simply must discuss the most divine wedding collaboration that has us absolutely swooning. While we're all breathlessly awaiting the next season of our beloved Bridgerton (because let's be honest, we need more Anthony Bridgerton in our lives), we've been blessed with something equally swoon-worthy: a stunning regency-inspired bridal shoot featuring the now-married Ally and Owain at the breathtaking Brookleigh Estate.
Firstly, BIG time credit to Katriese from Through The Wild Photography for these awesome Bridgerton themed captures.
The Crown Stack that had us ooooohing!
Our first look was nothing short of regal perfection. We chose a 3D floral fitted gown with pearl beaded drapes that cascade across the shoulders and back, from Dion for Brides. This gown is part of the delightful Gala Collection from Galia Lahav - the Neta gown - a gown that certainly makes you let out a little gasp!
Now, the accessories... this scene was layered joy.
We created what we're calling the ultimate crown stack - because why choose one when you can have three? Starting with a lower pearl and crystal single-row headband in gold (for that subtle luxury base), we layered a silver crystal petal crown, and framed it all with a modern gold crystal spike crown that truly.

This entire look was giving 'diamond of the season' energy with just enough edge to make Lady Danbury proud.
Penelope's Moment: The Princess Transformation
If the first look was regal, the second was pure fairy tale fantasy. Ally transformed into our very own Penelope Featherington inspired vision (Season 3), with a magnificent full princess layered tulle skirt and a hair full of scattered jewels
With her hair styled in sleek glamorous waves, we scattered antique gold leaf and freshwater pearl floral combs throughout the back of this stunning hairstyle - because sometimes more is more! But the true showstopper? A unique diamanté heart charm nestled within this headpiece set, personalized with Ally and Owain's initials. Romance level: Bridgerton finale. The name of this gorgeous set is 'Love Story'.
This setting was beyond dreamy—positioned on Brookleigh's grand steps with lavish white fresh flowers, lush greenery, and rich white draping that made the entire scene look like it was plucked straight from Netflix's set design team. We're still not over how romantic this moment was.

The Atrium Enchantment
Moving our princess inside Brookleigh's stunning atrium, we kept the same ethereal gown but switched the narrative entirely. Enter: beautiful and soft romantic floral lace veil with a dramatic train that had us collectively gasping. The Veil: Nicola - available to order on our website here.
The natural light filtering through created this almost ethereal glow that made the lace details dance. Pure poetry in motion.
The Grand Finale: Full Bridgerton Fantasy
Our final look was where we truly went full regency romance. A corset-style bodice paired with a full A-line skirt in soft sheer fabric, adorned with leaf and floral appliqué that caught the light with its subtle sparkle. This divine gown is another from the Galia Lahav Collection.
The talented Kirsten from Kirsten Smith Hair transformed Ally's hair into a dramatic upstyle with those perfect soft formed front wisps. The crowning glory, to this style? A dramatic pearl and crystal headband with tea-stained flowers scattered throughout that looked like they were picked from Lady Bridgerton's private garden. Introducing the Francesca headband.
The details were everything: delicate tulle wrist gloves for Ally from Dion for Brides, a top hat and tails for Owain. When they posed on Brookleigh's front steps, we genuinely felt like we were witnessing a scene from the show itself. The chemistry, the styling, the setting—absolutely perfection.

The Brookleigh Magic
Can we talk about this venue for a moment? Brookleigh Estate provided the most magnificent backdrop for our regency dreams. Every corner seemed designed for romance, the fountaiun, the staircase begging for a dramatic moment. It's the kind of place that makes you understand why period dramas are so addictive.
The Collaboration Dream Team
While we're absolutely obsessed with how our accessories elevated each look, this shoot was truly a collaborative masterpiece. Every vendor brought their absolute A-game, creating a cohesive vision that transported us straight into our Bridgerton fantasies.
