UNIQUE HEADBANDS
Unique statement headbands, ornate and far from subtle, these headbands are also making it's way in to the list for 2024. If not for your ceremony, consider this trend to create a second look with out changing your gown...just change your headpiece!!
Have you ever been to a Swan Valley Wedding Open Day?? Every year, all of the gorgeous venues in the valley set up their reception venues, with the help of some fabulous Perth Wedding Vendors and create magical spaces for brides to help visualise their special day!!! Phew, that was a mouthful, ha, ha. We have been very lucky to be involved with Brookleigh Estate, each year for this special event.
So...how to make the best of all these fabulous flower arrangements and divine settings that they have set up for you?? Well, that is why we are very lucky to help and participate in a bridal shoot each time to showcase some of these lovely spaces!
Our very talented photographer for this shoot was Eve from Ring and Veil Wedding photography.
Let's start with getting ready!!
Perth Brides are very lucky that we have so many amazing bridal hair and make up creatives to choose from...and still for how many there are...they still, get booked up so quickly...so, get cracking...book your fave in!!!
For this shoot, we had the pleasure of working with Kirsten from Bride and Groomed and Tegan, from The Makeup Collective. Kya, was our stunning model, a Miss Universe Australia finalist for WA.
As you can see in the video above, Hair and Makeup...were on point and Kya looked so damn gorgeous....love, love!!
The first gown chosen from the highly recommended, Dion for Brides, was a deluxe, intricately beaded gown with latte lining from the Gala Collection, Galia Lahav. This is the Becca gown.
You will see through the first half of this shoot, that we have styled the same gown, with different bridal accessories showcasing how your veil, headpiece and jewellery help shape your gown into the vison and theming that you want to follow through with.
There is not just one look for each gown. It's about you, your setting and your personality!!
In this first look, We have styled a gorgeous matt gold crown with pearls, 'We are the Stars', and our best seller veil, Lola from Dreamtime. Lola is a stunner! Soft, ivory tulle, with a dainty scatter of two pearl sizes, not too many gathers, giving you a sheer, easy to wear, veil. Just to note, veils at Kezani can be customised to suit your perfectly!
In the above shot, Kya is on the stairs of the main house at Brookleigh Estate, just one of the popular spots for a smaller ceremony. There are endless ceremony locations and photo options at this beautiful, Swan Valley location.
Also, on these stairs is a stunner floral wedding arbour from Maki at Flower and Barrel.
Close ups of this look, including the striking bridal bouquet from Flower and Barrel, Perth wedding florist.
Now, let's talk about this bouquet! Delightful colour combination, with gorgeous coral pink roses and wine coloured orchids. Vibrant, fresh and a sure showpiece from Maki.
This stunner atrium can be booked for photos.
The glorious Carmelina with the Beauty Veil.
The resident dog, Zeus being fluffy and cute!!
Above, Kya is wearing our very popular and beautiful, Claudia headpiece. This is actually three pieces that lock in together, forming either a spectacular, longer hair comb, that can be worn on the side or centreback, or the pieces can be separated and scattered in the hair, or placed together in a more clustered shape. We will leave this to you and your fabulous hairdresser!!
Wish you could taste the wedding cake from Dark Cherry, Perth...she is the bomb!!! Check her here.
So as the champagne toast in the air indicates...that's a wrap!!!
Til' next time.

This blog has been a long time coming!! I have a queue of wonderful shoots to share with you but until this Covid-19, I was struggling to have time to sit down and share all these collections of pics in full, with you. We are all getting a chance to reset, work out what is important in life, learning we CAN survive with less and also, that we were 100%, just doing too much!!! Can we re-enter this world again, with less stress and reduce our hectic schedules, I am not sure, but I will definitely...TRY!!!
So this gorgeous concept was styled by the lovely, Isabelle De Vries, a very talented makeup and hair artist for Perth Brides out there. Isabelle creates flawless make up and has also just released her own fabulous, high fashion eyelash collection. Check it out here.
The stunning background for this shoot was to be a floral haven, created by the wonderful Perth wedding floral creatives, Ollie and Gabbie and the impeccable and stylish photography was by fashion photographer, Derec Ethan.
Isabelle de Vries is a master at Hollywood waves, as you can see in this stunner shot above. All the beautiful gowns are available at House of Moments Bridal in Perth
Most of our earrings used in this shoot can be ordered in all platings, rhodium, rose gold and rhodium plate and our headpieces are all handmade in store. All pieces can be customised to suit your gown and wedding setting. Throughout this blog, click on image and it will take you to the main product featured in the image. You will be able to see more details and prices.
At the end of this blog you will see behind the scenes of this extravaganza and we will share a magical video that captured the day by videographer, Rob Rosielle from 360 visual image productions.
Well, I hope you enjoyed these stunner shots as much we enjoyed creating this wedding inspiration shoot. Here are some fabulous videos for you to see our models in action.
With Love and Fun,
Anita xx
This divine shoot was all about making a statement!!! We are going all out in this one with statement headpieces, statement gowns, statement florals and even statement eyebrows!!!
This mega shoot was by the very talented Kate Drennan Photography. Shot in a small studio and we had the pleasure of showcasing gowns from Dion for brides from a Galia Lahav trunk show.
The stunning floral arrangements were by Rose and Bud.
Pictured above, the Tiivel headjewellery. This piece can also be worn as a crown, a choker, and a headband. Featured in rose gold with a detailed crystal embellishment, finished off with two chains and crystal droplets at back. At Kezani, I do love when a piece can multi-task as I want you to be able to wear it again...they are too much fun to just sit in a box!!!
Truly one of my all time fave Kezani pics - The truly stunning, Venine Palm [our Miss West Coast and MissUniverse Australia finalist for Western Australia 2017] wearing our magnificent Diva crown in gold with the Gala 805 gown from Galia Lahav.
This truly stunning make up was by Cat Elizabeth from Cat Elizabeth Artistry - this is again pretty much my fave make up look!
The Grecian style head jewellery, Allegra featuring a vintage silver lace trim base with Swarovski crystal draping. Seen also with the Diva, the earrings featured here are the Caulfield earrings from Stephanie Browne
Venine's stunning hair today was by Rachelle Lord from The Pretty Parlour.
The Serena pearl flower hairvine and earrings - this is a long winding vine that has been wrapped around Venine's up do for a gorgeous soft and innocent feel.
Our stunning Dionsyia headpiece suits tulle skirts a dream!! A glamorous, statement hairvine that looks amazing worn on the forehead, as a headband or through the back of a hairstyle.
Who says you can't wear a bouquet on the top of you head, ha, ha??? This magnificent bouquet by Rose and Bud in greens, burgundy and ecru with a touch of pampas grass was truly a special addition to this shoot.

]]>A perfect day in April, three little girls woke up a little more excited than a normal day....school holidays, well that always makes you a little excited..but on top of that, they were going to be the little shining stars in a Perth wedding collaboration, Narnia- themed, flowergirl shoot. Two of these little girls, turn out to be my little nieces, which made this shoot even more fun for me too!!
Samantha Wynne, from Samantha Wynne bridal, created the concept and put together the fabulous team of Perth creatives to pull off this theme. Photography by the very talented, Shenae from Shenae Rose Stills and Motion and the stunning flowergirl dresses for this shoot were also from Samantha Wynne. The girls loved having to go for a fitting before the day.
Meet the cheeky three here and we will introduce you to one more little cutie further into this blog.
The perfect venue for this magic to happen, just had to be Brookleigh Estate. So many gorgeous spaces in this venue for any couple's dream to come true...and of course, this theme had to entail a delightful tea party!! The amazing table setting was put together by Michelle Mok creates and Side Serve Perth. Festoon lighting was from Wed Style and the stunning stationery, Jess is Jam.
The divino cake and cupcakes were by Cake Love Perth. We devoured them later...the cakes were amazing, scrumptious, delumptious!
Have you ever thought of using a headpiece on your cake??? Here we have used a beautiful gilted piece from Stephanie Browne - available in the Kezani Store.
Ahoy...Princess Raffaela has arrived in a gorgeous blue gown from Samantha Wynne.
Ok, now let's meet Butters, the pony!! Hello Butters! We all know many girls dream of having their very own pony, so we thought...a pony at our tea party would be just the icing on the cake!!! Well, she did like icing on the cake as she kept trying to steal a cupcake off the table, ha, ha.
The joy of receiving that special invite, a time to dress up, a time to play...The magic of Narnia was captured by the fantastic Jess is Jam today!
This cheeky trio are all wearing Kezani. Lara is wearing the 'We are the Stars' crown, Emilia [middle] is wearing the 'Venetia' crown and Liliana on the right is wearing our 'Galaxy' headchain. These are the Bridal versions, mini styles are possible and hiring maybe an option on larger styles.
“Narnia! It's all in the wardrobe just like I told you!” ― The Chronicles of Narnia
I can hear music, let us go to the magical garden....
An ethereal setting by the talented Michelle Mok creates, with music by Madeleine Antoine and McKenzie.
A little princess called Liliana wearing a gorgeous polka dot bodice with tulle skirt from Samantha Wynne.
Princess Emilia is wearing a beautiful silk flower girl dress by Samantha Wynne.
"What do you think is out there?" says our three little princesses.
It is always fun when you play dress ups. The stunning braided hairstyles and make up were by the lovely Brooke, from The Pretty Parlour.
Mckenzie is wearing the McKenzie vintage leaf crown and Lara is now wearing the Venine flower crown.
That golden hour with perfect light on Mckenzie, wearing a stunning crop lace top from Samantha Wynne and our Vintage Leaf Crown.
Our little princesses are still in great spirits are after long day of playing...ooops, shooting. At this stage they were asking me "when can we eat the cupcakes?"
So this wonderful day has come to a close, everyone had so much fun. We look forward to the next adventure. Follow us for more blogs to come.

]]>Hey Lovelies,
Are you venturing out for the ever so popular, Swan Valley Wedding Open Day? We will be showcasing headpieces and jewellery at Brookleigh Estate this year.
The open day is from 10am till 4pm, this weekend, 1st July, 2018. There are some fabulous wedding vendors at Brookleigh this year.
Here is the list I know so far!
I have had the privilige of attending several events this year at Brookleigh and it is truly a magical place. Our beautiful Kezani model, Venine was married at Brookleigh in January. You can see more of this venue in our 'Real Bride' blog here.
Our other special experience was a stunning flowergirl shoot using different backdrops again at this venue. This pics are still to be released but here is a behind the scenes to this fabulous day.
This reception venue, has a gorgeous outdoor dance floor, a lovely gazebo on lake setting and a working stables giving you quite a surreal setting with horses playing in the background.
Hopefully, the sun will be shining on the weekend and you can all have a special day searching for your perfect wedding venue...pop in and see me at this divino spot for a little start on your accessories for the big day!!

So the day you have been dreaming about all your life has arrived and it was amazing, every thing you could have ever dreamed of. Sad news is, 10 or so hours later, its all over. For the past few months (or years) you have been living and breathing the life of a bride. Back-to-back appointments figuring out floral arrangements, food tasting, whether to have a sit-down or cocktail wedding, and let's not forget your dress, hair, makeup, shoes, and JEWELS, and all the other small things you forget about like wedding favours! (ahh don't forget those)
The fact is, after putting all your energy into planning your big day for the past few months, when it all comes to an end we're not to sure what to do with all our free time. Yes, you probably all have jobs, but for the past year you have been use to being busy 24/7! Who says it has to end... okay, that's a lie. Your big day, is now over, but, there are 3 things you will always have: Your Man (if all goes well), Your Wedding Photos, and Your Memories.
So, if you still want to feel like a bride for a bit longer, why not share your photos with all the other women out there. The team here at Kezani have done some research to provide you with a list of our picks of the TOP 5 BRIDAL BLOGS you can submit your photos to. The perfect medication for your wedding withdrawals.
White Magazine is an Australian based bridal blog and magazine that is all about the meaning of marriage. Although they are based in Australia they feature brides from all across the globe. They're also known to take the most submissions, whether you had a classic fairytale wedding or went for something a bit more boho chic, the team at 'White' are more interested in focusing on the meaning of the day, rather than just the fun of it all.
So if you're wanting to inspire someone's style whilst warming their hearts by sharing your emotional experience, make sure to give their page a visit and SHARE, share share the love.. and of course the photos.
Check out our Real Bride's, Lauren who was featured here.
Second on our list is the notorious Nouba. This online blog features a variety of different weddings from all over Australia and New Zealand. If you tried submitting to bridal magazines and didn't get featured don't fret, you may have more luck with an online blog simply because websites don't have the same "space limitations" as magazines. I mean ... who can blame them, no one wants to be receiving a magazine the size of a textbook in the mail.
One thing I forgot to mention, if you're reading this and you're only engaged (and eagerly awaiting your big day that's months away) don't think we are forgetting about you. Believe me, I know that once your engaged you stalk these blogs as much as you can for inspiration, but who says you can't be the one who IS INSPIRING others ? You don't have to be hitched yet. Nouba accepts engagement shoot submissions too! (I know you're secretly jumping on the bed right now). So if you're here from Aus or are our neighbours just 'around the corner' make sure to head to their submissions page, and submit your wedding (or engagement shoot!)
For some its all about the dress, for others its all about the centrepieces. If you're like me, you care about your hair and makeup than the style details (simply because I am not that great at it)..but hey, without these blogs I would have had no clue about floral arrangements, aisle runners, and whatever else I am forgetting about right now. If you have a knack for styling, don't let your big day end there. Hooray is a bridal mag that is about more than just helping a bride-to-be decide what hairstyle she wants. They're all about essential, elegant styling for all wedding types. And if you're not that creative, but you had a 'Picasso's prodigy' as a bridesmaid then submit photos of your bridal shower!
There's nothing better than going local. Well, that's at least what they say in all the supermarket ads (You can tell its close to lunch time because my mind is drifting to food. Actually that's all the time). Anyways ... if you're from Western Australia, The Wedding Network might be your first pick for online blog submissions. Make sure to send them a message to be in their 'Real Wedding Feature'.
If you're wanting to make it big in Hollywood, head to Style Me Pretty ! Okay so, maybe I was a bit enthusiastic but whenever we all think of America our minds drift straight to Hollywood. This blog is all about the classic bride. As they say, they're all about all things pretty, in their words, "classic weddings with an extra sparkle". If that's you, make sure you enter your submission.
Lastly, I have to remind you to "Share the Love". Yes, in some part, you are submitting your wedding to a blog as some sort of medication for your wedding withdrawals... but don't forget you are part of a bride tribe called "Help a sister Out" (not literally, but hey, why not if you can). Your day will not only be in your memory forever as the day you made a promise to someone special, but it can be a source of inspiration to another bride somewhere else in the world who is in the same position you were a couple of months ago (the "I-don't-have-a-clue" stage). So, share the love by submitting, and don't forget to mention all the creatives that made your day special (your vendors).
It is important to note that to submit your photos to any blog you need permission from the Photographer.
Love, Venine

Good morning, good evening, or goodnight
From wherever you are in the world the team here at Kezani are excited to be back ! (Well technically we never left but do admit we haven't blogged in a while) You know how it gets, our customers, and brides are our priority. What's more important than your big day .... and making sure you are frosted in amazing jewellery of course. But that's enough excuses for now, the point is WE ARE BACK BABY ! Bringing you more regular blogs about all things bridal & fashion.
It is at this point in time that I realised welcoming myself is a bit of an akward scenario because I am already one whole paragraph into an conversation with you, so hi. My name is Venine and I am the newest team member here at Kezani. You may have seen me around (like on the website) because I have worked for Anita before as a model, but I couldn't just leave our catch-up's to occasional modelling gigs so i decided to stay for good, to annoy her in her office once a week (jks we are actually great friends). Anita hired me to share more about Kezani, and Real Bride experiences, all of which I am planning to do. But I am also excited to show you a bit more about her. Anita being as modest as she is, hasn't shown you HALF of what she can do yet. As you may have already discovered, she is extremely talented, but if you see what happens behind the scenes and how she creates new designs from scratch you will be even more amazed. So be prepared for 2018, and getting to know more about what Kezani LOVES but also about who we are.
Well, lets just say I have some experience in the bridal industry. And no, I have not been on Married at First Sight - although I do love that show (don't we all). My experience in the bridal industry started with photoshoots. I have never really signed to an agency or pursued modelling as a career but I have been in more bridal shoots that I can count on both hands. The bridal industry in Perth is by far filled with the most creative, kindest people I have met. By making friends with makeup artists, jewellery designers (aka Anita) and so on. I've made friends who got me involved in the industry and I have loved every second.
So growing up as a little girl dreaming about all things wedding, I got to "play pretend" over 12 times. Who wouldn't love that ! I have to say after wearing @galialahav, @demetrios and @enzoani gowns all from Perth's @dionforbrides, I was eager to do this for real. All I needed was my Prince Charming.
Well news is, I found him, and I got MARRIED for real. After all that "pratice", the day finally came. Yes sounds crazy because I am 20, but love has no rules and doesn't always fit into our plans but I am as happy as I'll ever be. And funny thing is, I met him at my sister's wedding. So weddings are magical and no one can prove otherwise. Enough of that for now, you will have to wait until next week for my post on our #RealBrides blog about MY wedding.
Other than my soppy love for all things bridal, I am a passionate writer and am excited to be a part of the KEZANI team. Just because my big day is over, doesn't mean the fairytale has to end. I am looking forward to hearing about your BIG DAY and big events (don't forget you don't need to be a bride to spoil yourself with sparklers).
That's enough from me for now,
Love Venine

We are so excited to share with you a gorgeous collection of pics from a Perth collaboration organised by Jess Ames from The Blushing Bride makeup. The theme was Bohemian, set in the beautiful Bold Park/Reabold Hill coming into sunset. The park is full of little trails with plenty of Australian bush and wildflowers. Walk to the top of the hill and you can see the stunning WA coastline.
Floral crown and rustic bouquets were created by Brooke Hatton from Floral Favourites, located in Atwell, WA.
The divine wedding gowns were from Samantha Wynne of Samantha Wynne Bridal in Mount Hawthorn, WA. This delightful design had delicate floral sprays with a deep low back neckline and we teed this look up with our new Venine floral and crystal crown for a romantic, ethereal vibe. Hannah's make up by Jess from The Blushing Bride.
The hair vision in this collaboration was styled by Hair by Tanya. Wild and free, kept the natural feel we all wanted for this glorious location.
Capturing the pure, natural beauty of this stunning setting was wedding photographer, Shenae from Shenae Stills and Motion wedding photography. Shenae is an expert in shooting in a relaxed style with the Aussie bush and sunsets.
Venine is wearing a gorgeous Guipuire lace bodice wedding gown designed by Samantha Wynne.
Showcasing a soft piecey hairstyle featuring a gorgeous braid by Hair by Tanya and our rose gold, crystal hairvine, Wild Ivy.
The Jessica bridal pins went a treat through this stunning hair do by Hair by Tanya.
Hannah is wearing our 'Leaf it to Me' earrings, a classic Swarovski stud with a vintage leaf that can be worn behind or in front of the ear. Great for Bride or Bridesmaids.
Just a reminder that this pretty face was made up by Jess from The Blushing Bride Make up.
The final shots of the day with Hannah had the perfect streams of sunlight, the magical view and our divine Swarovski crystal hairvine, Wild Ivy.
It was so great to work with a fun bunch of wonderful women and we are all looking forward to working with each other again soon.
With Love and Fun,
Anita xx

Last month I had the the privilege to work with a few of Perth's best wedding creatives. The shoot concept was designed by the fabulous Cat Elizabeth from Cat Elizabeth Artistry. Cat is a beautiful Perth wedding makeup artist and she is a 'Master of the eyes'.
The concept was Narnia princess, 'Through the Wardrobe'. Silver crowns, beautiful blooms were all part of the brief. The setting was breathtaking.
A difficult place to get to but the setting was truly magical. Big, green, grassy hills dressed with large boulders and a running stream, that made you feel like you were in the Scottish highlands. The overcast day and rain threatening just added to the mystical feel.
We had the perfect wedding photographer to capture these moments, Carly from CJ Williams photography. Take the time and have a look at her beautiful website and enjoy the beautiful pics in this very special blog entry.
Stunning wedding blooms by Perth florist, Emily at Flowers for William.
Seriously, how good is this??? One of my favourite pics from this wonderful collaboration. Jarred and Venine look like a scene straight from a romantic fairytale.
Jarred is wearing a fabulous suit from For Him Australia and the beautiful Venine is wearing a stunning new gown from Loui Col Designs
Who said three is a crowd??!! The divine Lauren, Briannan and Venine looking gorgeous in three beautifully designed gowns by Loui Col Designs. Flower crown by Flowers for William and Silver and crystal crowns by us!!
Briannan is wearing our new Bella crystal crown. This dainty crown has light touches of rose gold, white pearl and silk Swarovski crystals mixed with clears. The softness of this wedding crown went beautifully with the intricate beadwork and soft tulle in this wedding gown.
♥ Come to the woods and faraway, let's run free where the fairies play. ♥
See shoot in action and the fun times 'behind the scenes' here.
The fabulous film was created by Dreamseeker films.

I was so excited when we heard the news that Caris Tiivel had won Miss West Coast 2016 earlier this year...yay! Caris was our model featured in the 'Painted Dreams' campaign as well as many other shoots over the years. I knew winning Miss West Coast meant she had a really fantastic chance at winning the Miss Universe Australia 2016 pageant.
Even more exciting was the chance to design and make a fabulous choker for Caris to wear for this very special event. I knew the colour of her dress and a simple description of her gown and I had four days to make something divine....I was a bit nervous!
A little voice in my head was saying "she is going to WIN this". I had carefully selected some beautiful Swarovski crystal beads for her, though I still had no idea in my mind, on what I was going to make!
I wanted to create something modern but still classically simple. I went with a rose gold and gold crystal mix, clear marquee Swarovski stones encased in rose gold and a final touch of an antique green.
The result was a beautiful choker, simple lined, finished with rose gold chains that fell down her back to her waist. It looked amazing on Caris and was so sparkly on the catwalk.
It was such an exciting moment when Caris was announced the winner and crowned Miss Universe Australia 2016. She was adorned with a magnificent crown by Cerrone Jewellers.
Such a fairytale ending....will Caris Tiivel be the the next Miss Universe???
....I think so!!!
The Tiivel choker will be available online from the 1st November.

Anita xx

The Empire art deco style earrings are a stunning addition in rose gold. More details here.
Usually featured in rhodium, this was a divine custom order in rose gold. Still available on request. More details on this piece here.
The Muse bracelet is even more stunning in reality, a beautiful vintage leaf component with fine Swarovski crystals. Featured here with one of my favourite studs, the Mary earrings.
If you have any queries please email us at anita@kezani.com.au or visit our West Leederville to see more of this delightful colour.
